Stop “Fogging” Around And Try These Tips
Are your glasses fogging up constantly due to wearing certain face masks? Not only is it annoying and disruptive, but it also increases the chance of touching your mask and/or glasses and we all know that is not ideal. We normally exhale outwards and because of the mask, much of the air is exhaled upwards and onto the glasses. Here are some tips to prevent your glasses from fogging up while wearing a face mask.
-
Fold down the top section outwards.
-
This provides more space between the lenses and the exhaled air.
-
-
Place a folded, soft tissue paper between the mask and your nose bridge.
-
This redistributes the air evenly instead of straight upwards towards the lenses.
-
-
Clean your lenses with soapy water and let it air dry. Then use a lens cloth to wipe the soap off.
-
This provides an “anti fog” layer due to surfactant effect. Simply put, prevents the water molecules from forming.
